How Levr works
Everything the platform does, in the order you'll meet it. Each section says where the feature lives in the app and what it does with your money.
Getting started
- Create your account.Register with email and password. If sign-up is invite-only, paste the invite code you received, or open the sign-up link, which fills it in. Before going on you read the risk disclaimer and tick to accept the terms: this happens once, and Levr keeps a record of when you accepted.
- Turn on two-factor authentication. It's required. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy) and enter the 6-digit code. You'll be asked for a code at every sign-in.
- Tell Levr your goal.A short setup asks what you're trading for: protecting capital, passing a prop challenge, keeping a funded account, or growing. It picks a starting risk profile; you can change it any time.
- Connect an account.Start with Simulation: live prices, simulated orders, no keys. Add a real exchange when you're ready (Connecting accounts).
- Paste your first signal.Use the bar at the top of Overview. Levr reads it and opens the wizard.
Everything runs in simulation until you switch to live in Accounts. Simulated trades use real market prices, so what you see is what would have happened.
Connecting accounts
Accounts → Add account
An account is one place Levr trades: a simulated wallet, an exchange account or a prop firm account. Each account has its own risk profile, balance and limits, and every signal can open on several accounts at once.
| Venue | What you need | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Simulation | Nothing. Choose a starting balance. | Full |
| Hyperliquid | Your account address (0x…) and the private key of an API wallet. | Full |
| Propr | Your Propr API key. Choose Live or Beta (testnet). | Full |
| Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate, MEXC, BingX, Kraken, Coinbase | An API key and secret (plus passphrase where the exchange uses one) with trading only. | Beta |
Hyperliquid: create an API wallet
- On app.hyperliquid.xyz open More → API and create an API wallet. Approve it with your main wallet.
- Copy the API wallet's private key. In Levr paste it together with your main account address.
- Levr checks that the key belongs to an API wallet approved by that address. You should read Connected via API wallet (can trade, cannot withdraw).
Never paste your main wallet's private key. Levr refuses it and deletes it, because it could move funds.
Other exchanges (beta)
Create a key with trading permission only. Where the exchange reports permissions, a key that can withdraw is refused and deleted. Where it doesn't, Levr warns you to check it yourself. Restrict the key to the server's IP if your exchange supports it.
Verification and balance
Every new account is verified before use, and the balance is read from the exchange. Check connection repeats the check. An account in error never receives new trades.
How many accounts you can connect depends on your plan: 1 on Starter, 2 on Solo, 6 on Pro, unlimited on Desk.
Risk profiles
Settings → Risk profiles
A risk profile is the set of rules Levr follows on an account: how much a stop may cost, how many trades at once, when to stop for the day, how much leverage. Each account uses one profile. You can edit the built-in ones or create your own.
| Rule | Conservative | Balanced | Aggressive | Prop challenge | Prop funded |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Risk per trade | 0.25% | 0.5% | 1% | 0.6% | 0.3% |
| Daily loss limit | 1% | 1.5% | 3% | ½ firm's | 0.8% |
| Max open trades | 2 | 3 | 4 | 2 | 2 |
| Pause after stops | 2 | 3 | 4 | 2 | 2 |
| Max leverage | 5× | 10× | 20× | 10× | 5× |
| Liquidation distance | 2.5× stop | 2× stop | 1.6× stop | 2× stop | 2.5× stop |
| Max margin per trade | 40% | 50% | 60% | 50% | 40% |
| Runner trailing | 2.5× ATR | 2× ATR | 1.5× ATR | 2× ATR | 2.5× ATR |
| No-FOMO threshold | 0.15R | 0.15R | 0.20R | 0.15R | 0.15R |
| Entry order expiry | 24 h | 24 h | 24 h | 24 h | 24 h |
What each rule means
- Risk per trade: what a stop costs, as a percentage of the balance, fees and slippage included. Adjustable from 0.05% to 3%.
- Daily loss limit: once today's loss reaches it, the account opens no new trades until tomorrow (UTC).
- Max open trades: trades running at once on the account.
- Pause after stops: after this many stops in a day, the account pauses until tomorrow.
- Max leverage, liquidation distance, max margin: see Sizing and leverage.
- Runner trailing: how far the trailing stop follows the peak on the last part of the position.
- No-FOMO threshold: how far price may have moved past the signal, in R, before Levr stops buying at market (details).
- Entry order expiry: limit entries that haven't filled are cancelled after this time.
- Breakeven at TP1 and cancel entries at TP1: on by default. Turning them off keeps the original stop and the resting entries after the first target.
R is the distance between entry and stop. A trade that gains that distance made +1R; a stop is −1R. Results in Levr are shown in R so trades of different sizes compare fairly.
Reading a signal
Overview → the bar at the top, or New signal
Paste the signal as text, or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V / ⌘V, drag it onto the bar, or use the image button. Then press Read.
What can be read
- Text signals in the usual formats: coin, direction, entry (a price, a zone or market), stop, targets, DCA levels, leverage. Common formats are read instantly.
- Screenshots, including TradingView charts with the long/short position tool. Entry, take profit and stop are read from the price labels on the axis.
- Candle-close stops such as "close below 1.40 on 4h". Levr adds an emergency stop on the exchange as well.
- Call time: when the analyst posted the signal. From Discord it's the original message's time (a forwarded message keeps the analyst's time); from a screenshot or pasted text it's the time the message shows ("Today at 14:32"). It's never the time you read the signal. If no time is visible, enter it under Fix what was read. The chart marks the call with a small yellow dot on that candle; hover it to see the date and time.
- Analysis posts ("if it breaks 0.2741 we could see +20–30%"): Levr builds a draft with the key level as entry and the levels drawn on the chart or the percentages stated as targets. A draft has no stop: you set it.
When something is missing
- No coin visible (a chart shared without its header): the wizard opens and asks Which coin?
- No trade at all (a view without levels): Levr names the coin it found and offers to open it in the wizard so you can set the levels.
- Wrong value read: open Fix what was read in the wizard and correct it before placing anything.
Nothing is ever placed from reading alone. Every trade goes through the wizard and needs your confirmation, and a trade without a stop can't be opened.
The wizard
Two steps between a signal and an open trade. Nothing reaches an exchange until you confirm at the end.
Step 1 · Entry and accounts
- Where is price? A card compares the current price with the signal's entry, the stop and TP1, and tells you in words: On time, Barely moved, Moving away from the entry or Far from the entry. When the signal itself is a limit (or a zone) waiting for a pullback, being away from the entry is the plan: the card says Limit entry: waiting for price. If price is already beyond TP1, what matters is where it was when the analyst posted the call: if the call was made with price already beyond TP1, the analyst expects a pullback to the entry first (Limit entry: waiting for the pullback): the targets count only after the entry, so price moving around TP1 on the way down never cancels it (expiry, the stop or a candle close beyond the stop still do); if price came from the entry's side to TP1 after the call, the move happened without the entry (TP1 reached before the entry). The engine applies the same rule.
- Enter now fills at market. The card shows how much of the reward to TP1 you keep at today's price.
- Wait with a limit rests an order at your price (the signal's price by default). The colour of the price tells you how close it is to filling.
- Where to open it: every connected account that lists the coin is pre-selected. Accounts where the coin isn't listed say so. If an exchange refuses the coin when the order is sent, nothing is placed there, the trade shows only the accounts where it actually opened, and that coin isn't offered on that exchange again.
- Exposure: a slider from ¼× to 2× scales the loss at the stop for this trade only, compared with each account's profile. It never goes above 3% of an account per trade, and the daily loss, open trades and prop limits still apply.
Step 2 · Stop and targets
- Check or edit the stop and the targets. Each target shows its distance in R.
- Exits: Set by Levr decides how much to close at each target (how), or choose an equal split.
- The preview shows, for each account: size, risk in dollars, leverage, margin and estimated liquidation price.
- Errors block the trade (a stop on the wrong side, a missing stop); warnings explain risks without blocking.
Sizing and leverage
You never type a position size. Levr computes it from what you're willing to lose at the stop.
size = (balance × risk per trade) ÷ (|entry − stop| + fees + slippage)
Fees are the round trip at the exchange's taker rate; slippage is a small allowance for the stop filling a bit worse than its price. The loss at the stop is the number you set.
Leverage is chosen for you
With risk-based sizing, leverage doesn't change what you lose at the stop. It changes how much margin is locked and where liquidation sits. Levr picks the highest leverage that:
- keeps liquidation at least the profile's liquidation distance away (e.g. 2× the stop distance on Balanced);
- stays under the profile's max leverage and the exchange's maximum;
- keeps the margin under the profile's max margin per trade. If it wouldn't, the size is reduced, never the safety distance.
Margin is always isolated: a position can never use more than its own margin. The leverage written in a signal is ignored.
| Example (BTC, exchange max 40×) | Conservative | Balanced | Aggressive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stop 1.5% away | 5× | 10× | 20× |
| Stop 5% away | 5× | 7× | 7× |
Every time an entry fills (including DCA levels that move the average), Levr checks liquidation against the stop again and alerts you if it got too close.
How a trade is managed
From the moment you confirm, Levr runs the trade on every account with the same rules.
Entries
- Market entries fill at once. Zones become several limit orders across the zone.
- DCA levels are used only when the analyst writes them ("DCA", "average down", "add at"): Levr never adds any of its own. They get the share the analyst gives ("DCA 37.5, 30%") or 40% of the size, and the rest goes to the main entry. Risk is sized as if every level fills, so if only the entry fills you risk less. The wizard shows both cases: risk and R to TP1 with the entry alone, and with the DCA filled too. You can change or remove DCA levels under Fix what was read.
- No FOMO. If price already ran past the threshold (0.15R by default) on a market signal, Levr rests a limit at the signal's price instead of buying the spike. If price reaches TP1 before anything fills, the trade is marked missed and nothing is chased.
- Limit entries that don't fill within the expiry (24 h by default) are cancelled, and so are entries left behind when price crosses the stop first.
The stop
- A reduce-only stop is placed on the exchange right after the first fill and resized after every fill and exit, so it always covers exactly what's open.
- Levr then checks the stop on the exchange on every tick until the exchange confirms it, and every 15 seconds after that. A stop that is missing, has the wrong size or the wrong trigger is replaced: the new one is placed first, then the old one is cancelled, so there is never a moment without a stop.
- If the exchange refuses the stop twice, Levr closes the position at market. A position is never left unprotected.
- The stop only ever moves in your favour. Levr never widens it, and you can't move it past the original stop either.
How much is closed at each target
- TP1 closes enough to bank about half of the risk:
0.5 ÷ (TP1 distance in R), kept between 25% and 60%. A close TP1 closes more. - Later targets share the rest with decreasing weights, rounded to 5%, at least 5% each.
- 15% stays open as a runner after the last target.
- One target only: 85% there, plus the runner. No targets: 40% at 1R, then breakeven and trailing.
| Targets (entry 100, stop 95) | TP1 is | Closed at each target | Runner |
|---|---|---|---|
| 103 · 106 · 110 · 115 | 0.6R | 60% · 10% · 10% · 5% | 15% |
| 105 · 110 · 115 | 1R | 50% · 25% · 10% | 15% |
| 107.5 · 112 · 118 · 125 · 130 | 1.5R | 35% · 20% · 15% · 10% · 5% | 15% |
After each target
- TP1: the stop moves to breakeven plus 0.12% (fees and slippage), and entry or DCA orders still resting are cancelled so they can't fill later in a crash.
- Every next target: the stop moves to the previous target.
- After the last target: the runner is trailed at the profile's ATR multiple from the highest price reached (lowest, for shorts), on the 1-hour chart.
Candle-close stops
For "close below X on 4h" stops, Levr checks every closed candle of that timeframe and closes the trade when one closes beyond the level. This includes the candle that was already open when you entered, and candles that closed while Levr was briefly unreachable. A wick beyond the level doesn't close the trade; a close does. If a candle closes beyond the level before the entry fills, the entry orders are cancelled, because the setup is no longer valid. If the entry has filled only partly, the filled part is closed.
An emergency stop stays on the exchange in case Levr can't be reached. If the signal gives a fixed stop too, that one is used. Otherwise it sits one ATR of the stop's timeframe beyond the level: at least 0.5% and at most 4% of the price, or 1% if there's no data. Size is calculated on the emergency stop, so the risk is never larger than planned.
The trade page
Trades → a trade
Everything about one trade: the key numbers at the top (open P&L, banked, loss at the stop, leverage), the actions, the chart with every level and the full log of what Levr did.
Moving levels
- Drag a handle on the left of the chart, or focus it and use the arrow keys, to move the stop, a target or a resting entry. A level outside the visible range keeps its handle at the edge with an arrow.
- Nothing changes until you press Apply; Undo discards the change.
- Moving the stop to or past the entry also cancels the entry orders that haven't filled. The change bar warns you before you apply.
- Moving a target recalculates how much is closed at each remaining target.
Actions
- Close 25% · 50% · All: closes at market on every account of the trade.
- Stop to breakeven: moves the stop to entry plus fees, when price is far enough.
- Cancel unfilled limits: removes the entries still waiting.
Progress bar
Under the chart, every level from liquidation to the last target in order, with where the price is now. The level columns follow the same order, worst to best.
Overview and trades
- Overview: open P&L (split per account when a trade runs on more than one), what you'd lose if every stop hit now, equity, the last 30 days in R, the open trades and orders tables, and the latest actions.
- Open trades: market, P&L, accounts, size, entry, mark price, stop, targets hit and liquidation, with a close button per row.
- Orders: entries still waiting, with their distance from the price and their expiry. A cancel counts only once the exchange confirms the order is gone; until then Levr retries and the order stays listed.
- On iPhone: open app.levr.fi in Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. Levr opens full screen with its own icon, like an app.
- Sidebar: whether Levr is taking new trades, and for each account the risk in use and the room left today.
Guards and limits
Before every new trade, Levr checks each account. If a check fails, the trade isn't opened on that account; the reason is logged and alerted. It is never forced.
| Guard | What it does |
|---|---|
| Daily loss limit | No new trades once today's loss reaches the profile's limit. |
| Stops in a row | After the profile's number of stops today, the account pauses until tomorrow. |
| Max open trades | No more than the profile allows at once on the account. |
| One trade per coin | Exchanges keep one position per coin. Levr won't open a second trade on a coin already running on the account, or on a coin where you already hold a position opened by hand. |
| Price beyond the stop | If price is already past the stop when the trade starts, nothing is opened. |
| Liquidation check | Leverage keeps liquidation well past the stop; an alert if a fill brings it too close. |
| Plan limit | Accounts beyond your plan's limit don't receive new trades. |
When something happens outside Levr
- A position smaller on the exchange than expected (you closed part of it by hand): Levr follows it and resizes the stop.
- A position bigger than expected (an order filled without Levr seeing it): the stop is widened to cover all of it, and you get a warning.
- A position gone without the stop filling: the trade closes as closed on the exchange, never as a stop.
Prop firm accounts
Accounts → Add account → "This is a prop firm account"
Enter the firm's rules: starting balance, maximum drawdown, daily limit and profit target. Levr shows the drawdown floor (e.g. $25,000 with 3% max drawdown means a floor of $24,250).
- Risk shrinks near the floor. A single trade never risks more than a third of the room left above the floor, after a safety buffer (25% on challenge, 35% on funded).
- Daily limit on the challenge profile is half of the firm's daily limit, so a bad day stays inside the rules.
- Use Prop · challenge to pass the evaluation and Prop · funded once funded.
Emergency stop
Settings → Safety
Stop all new trades blocks new entries on every account at once, for when you're away or something feels wrong. Open trades keep their stops and exits and keep being managed. Resume new trades turns it back on.
Discord alerts
Settings → Discord alerts
- In your Discord server, open the settings of a private channel → Integrations → Webhooks, create a webhook and copy its URL.
- Paste it in Levr. A test message arrives right away.
- Choose which events to receive.
Events you can turn on or off: entry filled, take profit hit, stop moved, stop hit, trade closed, entry missed or expired, limit orders cancelled, trade blocked by risk rules, daily limit reached, close to prop limits, payout available, execution errors, partial closes by you, entry orders changed, liquidation risk.
Signals from Discord
Settings → Signals from Discord
Send signals to Levr from Discord instead of copying them.
- Add the Levr bot to a server of yours.Press Add Levr to my server. A private channel just for signals works best. The status at the top of the page shows online when the bot is connected.
- Forward a signal. On any message, use Discord's Forward and send it to that channel. Pasting text or a screenshot there works too, and so does a direct message to the bot.
- Connect your account the first time. The bot sends you a private link. Open it while signed in to Levr and confirm. The link works for 15 minutes.
- Open the wizard. From then on, every signal gets a reply with the levels and an Open the wizard button. Analysis posts come back as drafts.
Without forwarding: install the Levr app on your Discord account, then right-click a message → Apps → Send to Levr, or type /signal. The reply is private to you.
Nothing is placed from Discord. The bot only prepares the wizard; you confirm in Levr. Disconnect a Discord account at any time from the same page.
Journal and reviews
Journal
- Statistics: win rate, average R, P&L, equity curve and missed entries, with breakdowns by coin and by signal source.
- Every trade with its date, status, entry, result in R and in dollars, and a link to its full log.
- Review this trade (closed trades) and Review my week (at least 3 closed trades in the last 7 days) give a short written review: what went well, what to change, the rule to keep. Reviews never predict prices or suggest trades. Each is generated once and kept; there is a monthly allowance (30 by default).
Chart, events and news
- Timeframes 15m 1h 4h 1D at the bottom. The chart opens on the recent price action. Levels zooms out to show every level.
- The legend shows open, high, low, close and change for the candle under the pointer. The price tag counts down to the candle's close.
- US economic releases (high and medium impact) appear as flags along the time axis, with actual, forecast and previous values. A purple marker shows headlines about the coin.
- News opens the full list: the calendar and the latest headlines.
- The external link button opens the same coin on TradingView.
Simulation and live
Accounts → Switch to live
- In simulation, trades on real exchange accounts are simulated with live prices. The Simulation account always stays simulated.
- Switching to live needs a 2FA code and at least one verified real account. New trades are then placed on your exchanges.
- A trade keeps the mode it was opened in: switching doesn't move trades already running.
Before your first live trade, open one small trade and check on the exchange that entry, stop and leverage match what Levr shows.
Security
- Keys are sealed the moment you paste them. The web app can encrypt them but can never read them back. Only the trading engine opens them, in memory, to sign an order. Each sealed key is bound to its account.
- No withdrawals. Keys that can withdraw are refused and deleted; on Hyperliquid only API wallets are accepted.
- Two-factor authentication at every sign-in, and again before sensitive actions: adding keys, going live, changing your password.
- Too many wrong passwords lock the account for 15 minutes.
- Changing your password signs out every other session.
Plans and billing
Settings → Plan & billing
| Plan | Price | Accounts |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | €29 / month | 1 |
| Solo | €39 / month | 2 |
| Pro | €59 / month | 6 |
| Desk | €89 / month | Unlimited |
Every feature is on every plan. New accounts start with a 7-day free trial, no payment needed. Plans are paid in crypto (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and more) for 1, 3 or 12 months at a time, 12 for the price of 10; nothing renews by itself, so pay again before the end date to continue. If a plan ends, new trades stop; open trades keep their stops and exits.
Messages explained
What the most common messages in the log and in Discord mean.
| Message | What happened | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| not opened: a … trade is already active on this account | The account already runs a trade on that coin. | Close or finish the first one, or use another account. |
| not opened: a … position is already open on the exchange | You hold that coin on the exchange outside Levr. | Close it on the exchange, or let Levr skip this signal. |
| price already reached TP1: not chasing | The move happened before an entry filled. | Nothing. The trade is marked missed. |
| limit at … instead of buying now | No-FOMO: price ran past the threshold, so a limit waits at the signal price. | Wait, or cancel it from the trade page. |
| price reached TP1: cancelled … untouched limit order(s) | TP1 guard: leftover entries removed. | Nothing. The stop now covers what filled. |
| stop moved past the entry: cancelled … unfilled limit order(s) | You moved the stop into profit. | Nothing. |
| the exchange position is … bigger than tracked | An order filled without Levr seeing it. | Check the position on the exchange; the stop already covers it. |
| the position was closed outside Levr | The position disappeared and the stop didn't fill (closed by hand on the exchange, or liquidated). | Check the exchange's history for the exact price. |

| not opened: … isn't tradeable there | The exchange doesn't list that coin. Nothing was placed on it. | Nothing. The trade runs on your other accounts; that coin won't be offered on that exchange again. |
| couldn't confirm the cancel of … order(s) | An exchange hasn't confirmed a cancel after a minute. Levr keeps retrying every few seconds. | Usually nothing. If the order is still on the exchange after a few minutes, cancel it there. |
| stop fixed on the exchange | The stop check found it missing, the wrong size or the wrong price, and placed a correct one. | Nothing. The message says what was wrong. |
| … doesn't report the stop's state | The exchange can't tell Levr whether the stop is there, even after placing it again once. | Check the stop on the exchange once. |
| NO STOP ON THE EXCHANGE | The stop was refused and closing failed too. | Protect or close the position by hand now. |
| today's loss … is over the … limit | Daily loss limit reached. | Nothing. New trades resume tomorrow. |
